Finished this one this evening:

Specs:

5 mm 1.2510, blade 160 mm, handle 130 mm, scales are brown canvas micarta/ orange liners.

Kydex sheath will be next.

very nice knife, but isnt a 16cm blade a bit unwieldy for bushcraft?
but i think it might be great for chopping.

For some ( or most ) this may be a big knife,but I prefer one solid , heavy knife. Again, this one will also be used on trips where I only depend ( besides a pocket knife ) on this large knife.
Been in many places with heavy blades ( Bullshark, Orbis, Taurus, Claud Bouchonville) and for me this works great.

The choil is perfect for small whittling jobs.

looks great, very nice ! The only thing I would change ist a flat instead of a scandi ! But this is only my personell preferance .

This one weighs 370 gram.

I made the balance point right on the front tube, so it doesnt feel heavy at all.

man ist ja fast nur noch die Messer in der "Bushcraft-Liga" mit maximal 120 mm Klingenlänge gewöhnt, aber ich muss sagen dass mir das Messer von Jan in dieser Länge eindeutig mehr zusagt. Die Länge ist für mich genau das Maß wo das Messer anstatt massig eher rassig wirkt, es ragt im wahrsten Sinne aus dem Feld der maximal 120 mm Klingenlänge üblichen proportionierten Bushcrafter hinaus. Die Stahlwahl finde ich sowieso gelungen, mit 1.2510 hat man einen potenten Klingenstahl der sehr verlässlich ist.
